A 6 week Activity4Charity challenge started on 30th January 2012 with the theme "Getting fit for the New Year". 14 charities signed up to participate in fundraising and several companies signed up employees to take the challenge.

Action on Hearing loss wins the IOF/Activity4Charity prize drawer.
We are pleased to announce that the winners of the IOF/Activity4Charity National Convention step challenge is “Action on Hearing loss”. CEO , Luke Murrell and Sales Director Seema Bennett were delighted to present a certificate and cheque for £352 to CEO Jackie Ballard and Doose Ugo , the participant from Action on Hearing Loss in the challenge. The accumulated fund of £352 had been accrued by 300 delegates walking 1.7M steps during the IOF Convention and Activity4Charity had pledges £1 for every 5000 steps walked. A great result from a novel fund raising challenge.

The Sport and Exercise Research Centre at London South Bank University are carrying out a research study into daily physical activity, which will test the various motivational features in the Activity4Charity scheme.

MMVSENSE name their behavioural change Wellbeing scheme Activity4Charity. This scheme has one overriding design objective; to be as inclusive as possible and to appeal to a wide audience, in particular those who struggle to do the recommended 30 minutes of daily physical activity, and those who have a strong sense of community.

Today MMVSENSE Ltd has won a prestigious grant from SEHTA, the South East Health Technologies Alliances. The grant will enable them to further develop a community based software platform for use with their novel wellbeing pedometer programme. CEO Luke Murrell said: "We are delighted to receive this grant which will form the basis for a range of propositions we are developing targeted at driving behavioural changes which increase physical activity and so benefit the mental and physical wellbeing of individuals."

Seema Bennett joins MMVSENSE's management team as Sales Director. Seema brings with her many years experience of key account management particularly within large pharmaceutical companies, her responsibilities including channel development within the corporate sector.

Simon Johnson joins MMVSENSE's management team as VP International Business Development. Based in Switzerland his role will be to bring his extensive experience to bear both in growing technology start ups and in international business development.
8th March 2010
MMVSENSE secure a South East Health Technologies Alliance (SEHTA) grant to support laboratory research in the Sports Science Laboratory at Brunel University. The project being conducted by José González-Alonso, Professor of Sport and Exercise Physiology.
